Two warranties, and they cover different things. Ours is twenty years on workmanship, meaning anything to do with how the unit was installed, sealed, or finished. The window itself carries Vinylguard's lifetime warranty, which covers vinyl, hardware, moving parts, labour, and material at 100 percent, is non prorated, and transfers to the next owner if you sell. Some oversized single section units carry size limits on that coverage, and glass seals and paint have their own separate terms.

Full frame takes the old unit out down to the rough opening, which lets us see and fix any rot in the framing and gives you the largest possible glass area. Insert leaves the existing frame and fits the new unit inside it, which is quicker and cheaper but loses a little glass. We recommend based on what we find at the measure, and the quote says which one it is.

For north facing rooms, rooms above an unheated space, and anywhere you sit still for long stretches, it makes a noticeable difference to how cold the glass feels. For a south facing wall it matters less. We do not push it across a whole house by default, and the quote prices it per opening so you can choose room by room.
